Abdullah Al -Hamid meets a group of international drama and cinema makers in London
London, July 12 / WAM / His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamid, head of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, met in London, a group of the most prominent international TV and cinematic content makers.
The meetings witnessed the discussion of ways to exchange experiences and build qualitative partnerships in the fields of dramatic and cinematic production, with the aim of supporting Emirati content and qualifying national cadres capable of starting towards the world, by taking advantage of advanced experiences in the film and television industry, and exploring cooperation opportunities in projects that express Emirati identity and address the global audience, with a focus on transferring knowledge and training competencies in the areas of writing, directing, production and narrative creativity.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed stressed that these meetings aim to expand the horizons of international cooperation and attract distinguished production projects that reflect the UAE image of the world, in the context of translating the vision of the wise leadership, which is the creative industries a vital tributary of economic growth.
His Excellency pointed out that the UAE provided an attractive environment for creative investment, and strengthened its advanced infrastructure to support the contribution of this sector to the GDP, through qualitative strategic partnerships with global experiences.
The meetings included: Edward Levan, Vice President of “Warner Brazers”, the Emmy Patrick Caliguri Prize Executive, actor and producer Garid Harris, producer and lighting director of Lagra Rigi, documentary movie maker Anwar Aroyu, cinematic producer Cindy Kwan, and the expert in the field of development and media innovation Daniel Lauren, script writer and executive producer Simon Outli, and content manager at 3RCK/All3media Adam Kai.
