"Sharjah Electricity" The natural gas network in Hamriyah is completed by 100%

Sharjah, July 17 / WAM / The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority announced the completion of the natural gas network in the city of Hamriyah – east and west – by 100%, according to the highest technical and engineering standards.

The total length of the network reached 89 km, at a total cost of 14 million dirhams, where the vital project benefits 1655 beneficiaries, which enhances the region’s infrastructure and supports sustainable development efforts in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The implementation of this project comes as a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, with the necessity of providing modern and integrated infrastructure for the emirate’s residents.

Engineer Ibrahim Al -Balghouni, Director of Natural Gas Department at the Authority, explained that the achievement of the network in Hamriya confirms the commitment of the authority to enhance the level of basic services and keep pace with the needs of the accelerated growth witnessed in Sharjah, noting that the project is an important step in the path of achieving the vision of the emirate aimed at providing quality and high quality services.

Al -Balghouni pointed out that the authority continues to expand the scope of the natural gas network to cover various areas of Sharjah, and seeks to provide sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions by providing clean and economic fuel for home, commercial and industrial uses.
