Dubai Police is looking for future scenarios for the security and safety of weapons and dangerous materials 2040
Dubai, July 17 / WAM / The General Command of Dubai Police, represented by the General Administration of Criminal Evidence and Crime Science, organized in cooperation with the Future Support Center, a specialized workshop under the title “Future Scenaries for the Security and Safety of Weapons and dangerous materials 2040”, with the participation of representatives of 18 federal and local government agencies and private sector institutions, and more than 60 experts and specialists in this field.
The workshop aims to prepare a forward -looking study for decision makers, by analyzing future trends and exploring potential scenarios related to the security and safety of weapons and dangerous materials, in order to enhance institutional readiness and contribute to developing flexible and adaptable models.
The workshop was inaugurated by His Excellency Major General Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence and Crime Science, in the presence of Colonel Dr. Hamdan Al -Ghassiya, Director of the Agency Future Support Center, along with a group of experts and specialists from the participating authorities.
His Excellency Major General Bin Ghalita stressed that the organization of the workshop comes in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al -Marri, Commander -in -Chief of Dubai Police, and embodies the General Command’s keenness to support national efforts to foresight the future, explaining that the workshop seeks to align security policies and plans with long -term national initiatives, such as “Dubai Urban Plan 2040” and “Emirates Celsius 2071”.
For his part, Colonel Dr. Al -Ghassiya explained that the workshop discussed the impact of global and regional transformations in the security, scientific and social fields, and identified a set of future challenges and opportunities, as well as the development of analytical perceptions that support decision makers in developing alternative plans and stimulates innovation in addressing possible challenges
