Control a large fire in a factory in the Al -Hallilah area in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al -Khaimah, July 17 / WAM / The emergency teams, crises and disasters in the Emirate of Ras Al -Khaimah – in cooperation with a large number of local and federal authorities – managed to completely control a large fire that broke out in one of the factories in the industrial area of Al -Halila, after a field response that lasted for nearly five hours of extensive efforts. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al -Nuaimi – Commander -in -Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police and Head of the Emergency and Crisis and Disaster Team – stressed that controlling the fire took place without any human injuries and that the speed of the move and the efficiency of coordination between the field teams had the largest role in containing the accident. He explained that from the moment of reporting the fire, the joint emergency plan has been activated, and civil defense teams and support teams moved from some of the Emirates, in addition to the competent technical teams, to the site of the accident.

More than 16 federal and local entities participated in the control, cooling and evacuation operations, and the response was marked by institutional integrity and careful coordination in the implementation of field tasks; This enabled the fire to contain and prevent it from extension to the neighboring factories and warehouses. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al -Nuaimi explained that the technical difference of laboratories and forensic evidence began its work on the site of the accident as soon as the fire was completed, as the sampling analysis and determining the potential causes of the outbreak of the fire, in addition to assessing the material damage to the factory, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

He made sincere thanks and appreciation to all the parties that participated in the response, appreciating the spirit of team and institutional work that was shown by the difference, and stressing that the success in controlling this large fire reflects the high readiness to confront emergencies and crises in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, according to studied plans that put the safety of lives, property and infrastructure at the top of priorities.
