Abu Dhabi Police is participating in an awareness wing at a festival "Liwa wet 2025"
Abu Dhabi, July 19/ WAM/ Abu Dhabi Police participated in the Liwa Wet Festival 2025, with a comprehensive wing aimed at educating various segments of society as part of its efforts to enhance security, traffic and societal awareness and consolidate the concepts of prevention and positive interaction with the public in a distinctive heritage and cultural environment.
The Traffic Awareness and Education Department of the Traffic Directorate and Security Patrols of the Abu Dhabi Police presented the electronic awareness game “Road Security” in addition to the interactive CGI videos and aims to enhance traffic culture, instill concepts of commitment to traffic laws and systems of awareness lectures to introduce the public to traffic points programs, in addition to distributing awareness brochures and symbolic gifts to visitors.
The Drug Enforcement Directorate in the criminal security sector participated in an awareness platform targeting the youth category, to introduce them to the dangers of drugs and psychotropic substances and spread awareness messages that contribute to enhancing societal awareness of its dangers, indicators of abuse, early detection mechanisms and methods of dealing with cases, and reporting them with secret through official channels such as “Aman” service.
The Police inheritance Department presented historical holdings documenting the Abu Dhabi Police march, highlighting the stages of its development, and the most important security practices that represent part of the police heritage and provided explanations on the date of the establishment of the police and their development through decades, in addition to the presentation of the old uniform, reflecting the ancient legacy of the security establishment.
The Community Police Department in the Al -Dhafra region – a branch we are all police on spreading the concepts of community partnership by introducing the festival visitors to the goals of the “We are all police” initiative and encouraged them to cooperate with the security authorities to maintain security and stability.
The Security Information Administration (Aman Service Branch) defined the audience with the “Aman” service, stressing the importance of enhancing community security through secret reporting of negative phenomena and security notes.
The Police Follow -up Department and the subsequent care – a branch of traffic points programs provided an awareness explanation of the mechanism of lowering black points, retrieving the driver’s license, and distributed awareness books and traffic stories.
The platforms witnessed a demand and interaction from the visitors who valued the efforts made by the Abu Dhabi Police for awareness and promotion of a culture of prevention, and effective communication with members of society within a targeted cultural heritage atmosphere.
