Khorfakkan on July 19/ WAM/ Khorfakkan club announced the disabled the establishment of the goal football team for the blind, to participate in local and foreign championships during the coming period.
Louay Saeed Allai, Vice Chairman of the Club Board of Directors, stressed that work is underway according to deliberate plans to form the new team, according to the highest standards that contribute to discovering distinguished talents in this game, and providing all requirements, to upgrade their capabilities, and participate in local and foreign championships.
He pointed out that the club’s board of directors is keen to adopt initiatives that stimulate the category of determination, in a safe environment that gives them opportunities to show their talents.
In a related context, Alla pointed out that the basketball team on the wheelchairs concluded its participation in the “Generations of Tomorrow” championship for Western Asian clubs, in Jordan yesterday, by winning the bronze medal for the first time during the club’s participation in an external championship after distinguished results, praising the efforts of the Sharjah Sports Council in providing the requirements of this participation.
