The Prime Minister of Vietnam meets the Ambassador of the UAE

Hanoi, March 24 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Badr Abdullah Saeed Al Matroushi, UAE Ambassador to Socialist Vietnam, met with His Excellency Pham Minh Chien, Prime Minister of the Republic of Vietnam. During the meeting, bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were discussed.
His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Court, to His Excellency, and their wishes for his country and its people for further progress and prosperity.
His Excellency stressed the importance of concerted efforts to achieve further progress in bilateral relations, which have witnessed notable and important developments. He also thanked His Excellency for his country’s position in support of security and peace and condemning attacks on the sovereignty of the state and civilians.
For his part, His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Republic of Vietnam conveyed to His Excellency the Ambassador his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Court, and his wishes to the government and people of the UAE for further development and growth, praising the strong relations between the two countries, stressing Vietnam’s keenness to achieve further progress in bilateral relations.
His Excellency expressed his hope that security and peace would prevail in the region, stressing the importance of preserving the sovereignty of states, respecting the law, and not violating the United Nations Charter. He also condemned the targeting of civilians.
