The UAE launches the visual identity and the slogan of the Global Postal Union Conference"18"
Dubai, July 21 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates launched the visual identity and the official slogan of the twenty -eighth World Postal Union Conference – Dubai 2025, as part of the preparations led by the “Emirates Post Group”, the representative of the state membership in the Union, in preparation for hosting the most prominent international event in the postal and logistical sector.
The conference will be held in the Emirate of Dubai during the period from 8 to 19 September, under the slogan “Leadership of Change for the Future Industry”, within the work of the World Postal Union, which is the United Nations specialized agency concerned with the postal sector, which holds its conferences every four years to adopt its new strategy, and determine the future rules for international postal exchange.
The announcement of the identity came during an official ceremony organized in the Swiss capital, Bern, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Hessa Abdullah Al -Otaiba, the UAE ambassador to the Swiss Federation, and His Excellency Massaiko Metoki, General Manager of the World Postal Union, as well as a number of senior officials of the Union and representatives of member states, and senior personalities from the UAE and Switzerland.
The ceremony, organized by the Organizing Committee of the Conference in cooperation with the World Postal Union, was an important station that brought together representatives of the member states and the concerned authorities, where future visions, organizational plans and logistical services accompanying the conference were reviewed, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience worthy of the event.
His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the twenty -eighth World Postal Union Conference, stressed that hosting the UAE for this event confirms the confidence of the international community in its position and leadership in enabling the postal and logistical services system, and its prominent role in linking societies and economies.
He added that the conference seeks to enable decision -makers to redraw the features of the future of the global postal and logistical sector, by enhancing international cooperation, adopting modern technologies, and developing flexible and sustainable work models that keep pace with digital transformations, in line with the vision of the UAE and its message supporting digital transformation and comprehensive development.
The conference slogan “Leadership of Change for the Future Industry” reflects the pivotal role of the global postal union and member states in drawing features of the future of the sector, as well as the ancient legacy of postal service in linking peoples across the borders, and its accelerated transformation towards innovation and sustainability.
The visual identity embodies the symbolism of the “falcon”, reflecting the values of trust, strength and pre -emptive vision, in addition to the “Gate of the Future” that symbolizes openness to tomorrow and the growing role of the sector in promoting global interdependence.
This identity is an invitation to joint work to modernize infrastructure, develop organizational frameworks, enhance international cooperation, and constantly renew the commitment to the multilateral principles that direct the Union’s work.
The organization of the conference in the Emirate of Dubai, with the dimensions of strategy and future aspirations, comes in line with the targets of the “UAE 2031 Vision”, which places among its priorities to establish the state’s position as a global center in digital economy and smart services, and enhance its influential presence in international organizations and forums.
