The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing revealed that about 26,000 housing units were put up within the sale projects on the map via the “Sakani” platform during the first half of 2025.
This comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, and its continuous hour to enhance and raise the percentage of housing for Saudi families to 70% to achieve the targets of the housing program -one of the Saudi Vision Vision 2030 programs -.

5 thousand housing units

The Ministry noted the delivery of about 5,000 housing units to the beneficiaries of projects, in addition to the delivery of more than 4,200 units within the development housing initiatives, which effectively contributes to providing suitable housing for the beneficiaries.
The Ministry has made more than 5,200 residential plots of land through the “Sakani” platform, bringing the total of residential lands to more than 170 thousand pieces, in a move that contributes to enabling citizens to obtain various options that meet their residential needs.

7 projects with 3 billion riyals

She indicated that during the first half of this year, agreements were signed to connect the electrical current to seven major projects at a cost of more than 3 billion riyals, covering an area of more than 36 million square meters, and serving more than 24 thousand beneficiaries, which reflects the Ministry’s commitment to ensure the provision of basic services in residential projects.
The ministry granted 20 new projects a “finest” certificate during the first half of 2025, bringing the total of projects obtained by this certificate to 57 projects, which confirms the commitment of real estate developers to the approved technical and financial standards.

Rehabilitation of 70 real estate developers

In terms of the development of the real estate sector, 70 new real estate developers were rehabilitated within the program to support developers, bringing the total qualified developers to 310 real estate developers, as well as signing strategic partnerships with 36 global developers in 7 countries to enhance experiences, exchange knowledge and raise the efficiency of the real estate market.
Within the framework of continuous efforts to expand green spaces and improve the quality of life; More than 130,000 trees and trees have been planted during the past 6 months, bringing the total of what has been cultivated to 514 thousand out of 1.3 million trees and shrubs that the ministry aims to grow within the Green Suburbs Initiative.
