المملكة: The Council of Ministers welcomes the statement of international partners demanding to stop the war in Gaza

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud -may God protect him -chaired the session held by the Council of Ministers today, in Jeddah.
At the beginning of the session; The Council of Ministers reviewed the content of the message received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques -may God bless him -from His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Swatini, Meswati III, and the contents of the phone call received by His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister -may God protect him -from the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al -Shara, and what happened during the emphasis on the Kingdom’s permanent positions and support for Syria and its brotherly people, Blocked on its lands and interfering in its internal affairs.
In this context, the Council of Ministers stressed the contents of the joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a number of sister countries; Regarding the developments of the situation in Syria, and the common endeavors to support the Syrian government in order to rebuild its country and ensure its security, stability, unity and sovereignty.
In his statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the session, the Minister of Information said that the council continued the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom to the brotherly Syrian people to alleviate its suffering; It enhances its continuous support for the Arab and Islamic countries, and its pioneering role in supporting and assisting the needy and affected in the countries of the world, through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action.
The Council of Ministers welcomed the statement issued by a number of international partners that include demanding the end of the war on the Gaza Strip, lifting all restrictions on humanitarian aid and safely communicating it to the residents of the Strip, reiterating the Kingdom’s call to the international community to quickly take decisions and practical steps in front of the Israeli intransigence that deliberately prolongs the crisis, and undermines regional and international peace efforts.
The Council expressed the welcoming of the signing of the “Declaration of Principles” between the government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the “Congo River” alliance, looking forward to this constitutes a positive step towards improving humanitarian and economic conditions, and in a way that benefits international peace and security.
The Council of Ministers blessed the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding with the aim of developing an integrated system for exporting renewable energy and green hydrogen from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the European continent, based on the leadership role of the Kingdom in promoting international logistical connection, and its leadership is the economic corridor project between India, the Middle East and Europe.
And that the council praised the performance of the program of developing the national industry and logistical services, achieving multiple targets, most notably the contribution to the non -oil GDP, providing various job opportunities, enabling investments in the strategic sectors, and expanding the localization of various industries in the Kingdom.
The council praised the achievements of the Saudi program for twins attached to its acquisition of (150) twins from (27) countries and (65) separation operations; Embodied the humanitarian message of the Kingdom, and its position as a global center in this field.
The Council of Ministers promised to elect the Kingdom as President of International Societies and Committees in the World Intellectual Property Organization; Emphasizing the pioneering status, the influential role in multilateral action, and embodying confidence and appreciation for it at the global level.
The Council expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration to enhance the prospects for international cooperation; To keep pace with the accelerated scientific and technical developments and achieve the desired goals of progress and prosperity, by hosting the eighth edition of the World Health Forum, and the global symposium for communications organizers.
The Council praised the Kingdom’s hosting the International Congress of Internal Auditors in the year (2027 AD), which is enhancing its position as a global center for governance and control, and emphasizing the development of the internal audit profession and its leadership at all levels, and enabling its practices in the public and private sectors.
The Council of Ministers reviewed the topics on its agenda, among them topics that the Shura Council participated in studying, as well as what was concluded by both the Council of Political and Security Affairs, Economic Affairs and Development, the General Committee of the Council of Ministers, and the Cabinet Experts Authority in its matter, and the Council has ended to the following:
Firstly:
The authorization of His Royal Highness the Minister of National Guard – or his representative – to discuss with the Spanish side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of National Guard in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Clinic de Barcelona Hospital in the Kingdom of Spain in the fields of genetic and cellular therapy, and signing it.
secondly:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Agriculture in the Republic of Tajikistan for cooperation in the field of agriculture.
Third:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the International Finance Corporation.
Fourth:
Amending the organization of the Saudi Red Sea Authority; This is as mentioned in the decision.
Fifth:
The Jeddah Governorate Municipality is controlling the coast extending from the surface center in Rabigh Governorate (north) to the Al -Kadouf Center in Al -Qunfudah Governorate (south), and its environmental protection.
Sixth:
Renewal of the membership of Professor/ Muhammad bin Abdullah Al -Haqbani, Professor/ Faisal bin Marzouq Al -Fahdi, Mr. Abdul Mohsen bin Fahd Al -Muzaini in the Board of Directors of the Food and Drug General Authority, and the appointment of Dr./ Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al Khalifa, and Dr./ Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Al Majid; Two members of the Board of Directors of the Authority.
Seventh:
Approval of the final account of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University for a previous financial year.
Eighth:
Approval of appointments and promotions with the two ranks (fifteenth) and (fourteenth), as follows:
-Ali bin Salem bin Abdullah Al -Amer was appointed to the position of (Undersecretary of the Emirate of District) at the (fifteenth rank) in the Emirate of Hail.
-Nayef bin Fayhan bin Turki bin Rabian was appointed to the position of (Emir of the Ninth Regiment) at the (fifteenth) rank in the Ministry of National Guard.
-The promotion of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahid bin Abdullah Al -Arifi to the position of (first religious research advisor) at the (fifteenth) rank at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
-The promotion of Khalid bin Nasser bin Abdullah Al -Subaie to a position (first legal advisor) at the (fifteenth) rank in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
-The appointment of Khalid bin Saleh bin Muhammad Al -Adib to a job (Undersecretary of the Emirate of District) at the (fourteenth rank) in the Emirate of Al -Qassim Region.
-The promotion of Dr./ Sharifa bint Ali bin Akhah Al -Salami Al -Zahrani to the position of (Commissioner Minister) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
-The promotion of Shaalan bin Aqeel bin Aqab bin Ajal to the position of (Minister Commissioner) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Council of Ministers also reviewed a number of general issues on its agenda, including annual reports of the Saudi Investment Marketing Authority, and the universities (King Abdulaziz and King Khaled), and the Council has taken what is necessary on these issues.
