By acclamation .. Al -Fardan is the head of the UAE Basketball Federation

The Electoral Committee of the UAE Basketball Federation, headed by Counselor Badr Al Hammadi, held a meeting this afternoon, in conjunction with the legal period specified for objections to applications for candidacy for the presidency of the Basketball Federation for the electoral round 2024-2028.

The Electoral Committee announced, the end of the period of submitting the objections, that the committee did not receive during the last period except to receive a single candidacy form for the position of the president, submitted by the Sharjah Club candidate, Abdul Latif Al -Fardan, and based on the failure of the committee to receive any of the objections to the request, Al -Fardan becomes president of the Basketball Federation in his new electoral session.
