July 29 .. 300 Arab and international publishing houses start at the Medina Book Fair

The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority is preparing to launch the fourth edition of the Medina Book Fair 2025, during the period from July 29 to August 4, in the vicinity of the King Salman International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the participation of more than 300 publishing houses and an Arab and international agency, distributed over more than 200 pavilions.
The CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority d. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al -Wasid that the Medina of the Book Fair 2025 in its fourth edition embodies the continuous and unlimited support that the culture sector enjoys from the wise leadership, which enhances the importance of Medina cultural and its position in the Saudi cultural scene.

Promote cultural exchange

Al -Wasel pointed out that the exhibition keeps pace with the latest developments in the publishing industry, which is an extension of the success of the past 3 versions, within the initiative of “Book Exhibitions in Saudi Arabia”, one of the strategic initiatives of the authority, which seeks to enable the publishing industry, stimulate cultural and cognitive awareness, and contribute to economic development and quality of life, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

He pointed out that the exhibition enhances cultural exchange and encourages interest in reading, highlights the talents of Saudi writers and writers, and works to provide an investment environment with international standards, noting that the exhibition has become an expected annual event that attracts thousands of visitors to see the latest titles and publications.

A rich and varied experience

This year the exhibition presents a rich and varied cultural experience that reflects the cultural movement in the Kingdom, and meets the concerns of visitors of all their segments and tendencies, through a wide range of modern publications in the literary, cognitive, and scientific fields, with the participation of a number of government entities and cultural and societal institutions, to review its most prominent programs and initiatives.
In addition to the opportunity to meet the authors in the Corporation of Books, along with a wealthy cultural program, which includes a large number of qualitative events, including seminars, sessions and workshops, with the participation of a group of intellectuals and experts, in a move that enhances the cultural and literary movement, and contributes to attracting new segments towards book exhibitions.

Extensive interactive area for children

Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah 2025 Book Fair coincides with the summer vacation of schools, giving male and female students an opportunity to discover the world of books and acquire various publications that contribute to developing their knowledge and refining their skills.
The exhibition devotes an expanded interactive area for children, which includes educational and skill activities and workshops that enhance their creative abilities, as well as cultural programs presented in a framework that combines entertainment and literature, to encourage reading and learning, and consolidate the cognitive and educational values of the future generation.
