Europe is declining in solar energy

New industrial data showed, yesterday, that the European Union is moving towards recording the first annual decline in expanding in the field of solar energy for more than 10 years, in light of the reduction of some governments financial support for the installation of solar panels on the roofs of buildings, and according to a report issued by the “Solarpower Eurob”, it is expected that 64.2 GB of the new solar power will be installed during 2025, with a decrease 1.4%, compared to 65.1 GW installed in the previous year, and the decline represents the first annual decrease in the growth of the European solar market since 2015, and the slowdown reflects a shift in the political priorities of some countries that reduced green measures or support clean energy.
