المملكة: Among them 2,566 people with disabilities .. “acceptance” managed 339 thousand students from university seats

The unified national “acceptance” platform for university and technical admission recently concluded the stage of additional opportunities for the academic year, after it succeeded in enabling more than 339,000 male and female students to obtain educational opportunities and study seats in universities, colleges and the General Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, in addition to those admitted within the “Emidar Path” in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for scholarship, in all regions of the Kingdom.
This success is an extension of the platform’s efforts to enhance transparency, expand the scope of academic admission and provide educational opportunities for students in a fair and fair competitive environment.
The platform clarified that unifying admission procedures at the Kingdom level contributed to improving governance and raising the level of transparency by relying on recent data and fully reliable systems, which provided equal opportunities without human intervention, and expanding the scope of educational options available to students through more than 4,000 academic majors.
The additional opportunity phase was also implemented based on official data provided by the educational authorities, to ensure the accuracy of the comparison between the applicants and the fairness of the results.

Electronic system efficiency

Since the start of the first stage on May 28, more than 339,000 students have been accepted, including 2,566 people with disabilities, 77,970 social security beneficiaries and 534 sons and daughters of the martyrs.
The platform also achieved the desires of 70 % of students within their first ten options, which reflects the efficiency of the electronic system in the alignment of desires with the academic capabilities available to educational institutions.
The evaluation and measurement indicators showed that the platform helped 82.6 % of students explore new specializations that were not among their initial options, while 82.4 % explained that the application steps were easy and clear and helped them make their academic decisions with confidence.

Distribution of educational opportunities

While 71.6 % of users confirmed that the conditions for admission were clear and that the distribution of educational opportunities was fair, and the percentage of user satisfaction over the platform exceeded 84 %, which reflects the high confidence that the unified admission experience received at the Kingdom level.
The “acceptance” platform thanked its partners in universities, colleges, the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, the Education and Training Evaluation Authority “Measuring” and the scholarship program, in appreciation of their continuous cooperation in various stages of admission, confirming the continued work to develop the platform and improve procedures in a way that enhances the user experience and raises the efficiency of performance in the coming years.
The “Acceptance” platform is a qualitative national model that contributes to simplifying university admission procedures and equal opportunities between students from various backgrounds, as it enables them to make their academic decisions on clear and reliable foundations, and is in line with the Kingdom’s targets in developing the education sector and raising the quality of educational services and expanding university and technical learning opportunities in a fair and transparent manner.
