The Emirates Human Resources Development Council in Dubai organizes an open recruitment day

DUBAI, 25th February, 2018 (WAM) – The Emirates Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Nafs, the Community Development Authority, the Emirates Financial Institute, and Dubai College of Tourism, organized an employment open day for Dubai Islamic, with the aim of expanding employment opportunities for citizens in the banking sector and supporting their sustainability.

The organization of the event comes within the framework of enhancing institutional integration between the entities concerned with employment and vocational qualification, and building a system that supports the sustainability of citizens’ participation in the labor market, by developing mechanisms that link national competencies directly with job opportunities in the private sector, through employment platforms that contribute to accelerating employment procedures and enhancing citizens’ readiness to engage in vital economic sectors.

Abdulaziz Al Falahi, General Supervisor of Recruitment Operations at the Emirates Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, said that the recruitment open day comes as a continuation of the Council’s efforts aimed at transforming Emiratisation goals into real job opportunities that allow citizens to engage in strategic sectors that add value to the national economy.

He added that the Council is working, through existing partnerships, to build sustainable career paths for national competencies that combine employment, qualification and skills development, in a way that enhances job stability and raises competitiveness in the labor market, stressing the Council’s commitment to continuing to develop institutional cooperation models aimed at linking the outcomes of education and training to the needs of the private sector.

For her part, Rafia Al Abbar, Director of Human Resources Department at Dubai Islamic, said that Emiratisation constitutes a strategic priority for the bank and a fundamental axis in its direction to build the future, noting that the initiative represents a platform for direct communication with national competencies and introducing the professional opportunities available within the institution.

She added that cooperation with the Emirates Human Resources Development Council in Dubai and partner agencies aims to support local competencies at various career stages and prepare them to contribute effectively to supporting a competitive, knowledge-based economy.

The career day included career guidance programs and introductory sessions on career paths in the banking sector, in addition to reviewing development and qualification opportunities that enhance the ability of national cadres to advance professionally and keep pace with the requirements of the modern work environment.
