"Sharjah Social" It provides its publications in the House of Wisdom Library to enhance societal knowledge
Sharjah, on July 29 / WAM / The Social Services Department in Sharjah provided its research and awareness publications in the “Treasury of Wisdom” at the Bayt Al -Hikma Library, as part of its efforts to enhance the spread of societal knowledge, and support decision -makers, researchers and those interested in social issues.
Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi, Director of the Knowledge Office in the Department, stressed that this initiative comes as a continuation of the role of the department in spreading scientific studies and field research that reflects the needs of society, and provides reliable information that contributes to raising societal awareness and promoting social education, noting that the aim of providing these versions is not profitable, but cognitive and aware.
He explained that the publications cover a wide range of topics related to different groups of society, including children, women, the elderly, and people with disabilities, in addition to dealing with a number of social phenomena and reports related to the family, pointing out that the department started since 2017 to issue these studies periodically and publish them monthly through its official website Sssd.shj.ae.
