The President of the State and the Prime Minister of Britain are discussing the relations of the two countries and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, during which he discussed the developments taking place in the Middle East and the efforts made regarding the treatment of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip … affirming the keenness of the two countries to support all efforts and efforts aimed at establishing regional security and stability.
The two sides stressed the importance of pushing in a steady pace towards the path of permanent, fair and comprehensive peace, which is based on a “two -state solution” as the way to achieve stability in the region and build a better future for all its countries and peoples.
His Highness the President of the State affirmed the priority of reaching an urgent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and continuing the flow of relief humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities to the Strip and without obstacles to alleviate the suffering of its residents.
During the call, His Highness appreciated the statements of the British Prime Minister about Britain’s intention to recognize the Palestinian state.
His Highness and the British Prime Minister also discussed during the communication … the paths of cooperation between the two countries in various fields and ways to enhance it to serve their mutual interests, stressing their keenness to continue joint work and build on the historical relations that bring together the UAE and the United Kingdom in a way that brings good and growth over their people and supports the reasons for security and peace in the region and the world.
