Sharjah Charitable offers more than 8 thousand medical services to support patients in the first half

Sharjah, July 30 / WAM / The Sharjah Charitable Society provided during the first half of this year 8205 charitable medical services provided through two model clinics directed to the groups unable to bear the expenses of treatment or benefit from health insurance services, namely: Sharjah Center for dialysis and the Sharjah Medical Association Center in Khor Fakkan.
The dialysis center of the association is the first of its kind at the Emirates level within the charitable sector, where it offers periodic treatment sessions according to the highest medical standards for patients with kidney failure. During 6 months, the center implemented 3,404 dialysis sessions at a total cost of 1,804,120 dirhams.
As for the Sharjah Medical Association Center in Khor Fakkan, it witnessed a remarkable expansion in the number of beneficiaries, which amounted to 1,990 patients, an increase of 64% compared to the first half of last year.
Abdullah Sultan bin Khadem, Executive Director, affirmed that the association directs its investments towards the needs of the most urgent society, specifically the health aspect that represents an essential pillar to empower man, explaining that the numbers achieved during the six months reflects the true impact of these projects and their need for continuity and support.
