1.6 billion dirhams the value of real estate trades in the “central and eastern” regions in Sharjah during the first half

Sharjah, July 30/ WAM/ The total real estate trades in the “middle and eastern” regions of the Emirate of Sharjah during the first half of 2025 amounted to about 1.6 billion dirhams, achieving a remarkable growth of 143% compared to the same period in 2024.

The real estate actions movement issued by the Real Estate Registration Department in Sharjah indicated that the number of transactions completed in the department’s branches reached 12,346 transactions, while the total area circulating in sales transactions reached 22 million square feet.

Omar Al -Mansouri, Director of the Branches Department of the Real Estate Registration Department in the Emirate of Sharjah, said that the remarkable growth in real estate trading in the central and eastern regions during the first half of the year 2025 reflects a state of escalating confidence in the real estate market in the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, due to the enemy of factors, including the continued implementation of biological infrastructure projects and organized urban expansion in addition to the investment facilities launched by the Sharjah government to encourage ownership Real estate in the emirate regions.

He noted that the central region recorded real estate trading that exceeded one billion dirhams, which reflects the gradual transformation in the real estate investment compass towards these promising cities.

He stressed that the department continues to support this growth by developing branch services, simplifying procedures and achieving digital integration in a manner that enhances the sector’s competitiveness and keeps pace with the comprehensive Sharjah development vision.

Al -Mansouri explained that the volume of trading in the branches is all 5.8% of the total trading volume in the emirate during the first half of this year, after the total cash trading volume in the central region reached 1.1 billion dirhams, or 4.2%, while 294.8 million dirhams in Khorfakkan, at 1.1% and 117.9 million dirhams in the city of Kalba, by 0.4% and 11 million dirhams in Dibba Al -Hosn by 0.1% of the total volume Trading in the emirate.

Al -Mansouri pointed out that the number of sales transactions in the central region during the first half of this year reached 493 transactions that took place in 39 different regions, with a total value of 477.9 million dirhams, and 44.4% of which were implemented in the “Industrial 1” and “Blida” regions by 219 transactions.

The number of sales transactions in Khorfakkan city reached 126 transactions in 24 regions in the city, with a value of 107.8 million dirhams and 27.8% in the “Al -Hurai Industrial” and “Al -Hurai” regions through 35 transactions.

While the number of sales transactions in the city of Kalba reached 100 transactions that took place in 26 regions, with a total value of 62.3 million dirhams, including 30 transactions recorded in the “Al -Tarif 5” area, with 30% of the total sales transactions in the city, while sales transactions in Dibba Al -Hosn reached 7 transactions worth 6.6 million dirhams.

The value of real estate mortgages in the central and eastern regions amounted to 178 million dirhams through 215 transactions distributed by 76 mortgage transactions in the city of Kalba, 68 in Khorfakkan, 65 in the central region and 6 mortgage transactions in Dibba Al -Hosn.

With regard to the transactions selling initial contracts in the central and eastern regions during the first half of 2025, they numbered 581 contracts, with a value of 732 million dirhams, 520 contracts were recorded in the central region branch and 61 contracts in Khorfakkan.
