Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2025 presents artistic performances on its third day

ABU DHABI, 22nd November / WAM / The activities of the third day of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show witnessed a range of artistic and entertainment performances that visitors enjoyed, combining musical acts, air and sea shows.
This session was characterized by wide participation from local, regional and international companies, as the exhibition brought together 1,068 exhibitors and brands from 56 countries, in clear confirmation of the rapid growth of the marine industries sector in the region, and consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading center for marine industries and related activities.
The “Al Fursan” band gave a preliminary show in the afternoon in preparation for its live air show held on the closing day of the event, as visitors awaited a show by professionals displaying their skills in executing precise and dazzling movements at high altitudes.
This show is a combination of creativity and sporting skill, forming one of the most prominent entertainment stations during the exhibition.
Visitors on the third day of the exhibition enjoyed a variety of entertainment activities, in addition to seeing the latest marine innovations, yachts and boats on display. These live musical performances by Mirinda and Amanda Maalouf added to a lively atmosphere, giving visitors a distinctive experience in addition to the exceptional marine performances the exhibition offers.
The third day also witnessed jet ski shows, during which the professionals performed acrobatic movements and fast maneuvers that caught the attention of the attendees along the marina. As the evening approached, the atmosphere grew more enthusiastic with the fireworks display that lit up the Abu Dhabi sky, forming a distinguished conclusion to the day’s activities.
Jack Taylor, General Manager of the SailGP Championship, spoke in the Knowledge Corner about the Grand Round Final of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sailing Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi, as he provided an in-depth look at the teams’ preparations for this highly competitive event, which is expected to be one of the strongest finishes in the history of the championship. Four teams are still competing for the title: UAE Team GBR, New Zealand, Australia and Spain.
During the session, Taylor reviewed the stages of preparing sailboats, highlighting the advanced facilities used in boat manufacturing and the great technical challenges faced by the technical teams.
He explained that preparing a single boat may take up to three days depending on the conditions and requirements of the race, which reflects the precision of the process and the expertise of those working in it, and the championship final is scheduled to be held on November 29 and 30, 2025. Taylor’s session provided a comprehensive overview of what it takes to compete at the highest levels of the International Sailing Championship.
