The “Al -Faris 3” operation team is making an inspection tour to follow up the implementation of the “Life Person” project to supply southern Gaza with water

Rafah – Gaza on August 8/ WAM/ The “Al -Faris 3” operation team, yesterday, Thursday, made a field inspection tour of the implementation of the “Life Art Break” project, in cooperation with the Water Authority of the Municipalities of the Sahel in Gaza, which aims to supply the southern regions of the Gaza Strip with sustainable water lines, within the framework of the major relief and humanitarian projects implemented by the United Arab Emirates to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

This project is one of the most prominent vital projects that come in response to the increasing needs of the displaced and local population, in light of the dangerous human deterioration caused by the ongoing war.

It is implemented in cooperation with the Water Authority of the Municipalities of the Sahel in Gaza, and in coordination with the competent authorities on the Egyptian side.

The new water line extends for a distance of 7 kilometers, starting from the Emirati desalination stations on the Egyptian side of Rafah, to the Al -Mawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip, one of the most overcrowded areas.

About 600,000 citizens are expected to benefit from this project, including a large number of children, women and the elderly.

The project aims to provide clean and safe water supplies, which reduces the human and health burdens facing the population, especially in light of the limited resources, the frequent interruption of water, and the high temperatures.

These efforts are part of a comprehensive plan launched by the UAE under the umbrella of the “Al -Faris 3” operation, which includes a wide package of relief, medical and construction projects, for the benefit of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The project is being implemented under the supervision of Emirati teams and in technical and field cooperation with the Municipal Water Authority, to ensure that technical standards and local needs are matched.

The technical teams executed for the project confirmed that the pace of work is proceeding rapidly, and that the executive works are proceeding according to the specified timetable, in preparation for operating the line and pumping water to the distribution areas as soon as possible.

This project reflects the UAE’s keenness to provide sustainable and effective humanitarian support to the Gaza Strip, especially in light of the unprecedented challenges facing it, with the continued aggression and the collapse of the basic infrastructure in various sectors.

It is expected that the “Life Art” is expected to reduce the daily suffering of thousands of families, and that it is a model for regional and international cooperation in the face of humanitarian crises.
