Dubai Police is surprised by a gossip in its punitive and reformist institutions, with a visit from its children

The General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions in the Dubai Police, in coordination and cooperation with the Dubai Community Development Authority, surprised an inmate in the institutions, with a special visit represented in the presence of its four children to meet after a long period of time that she did not see them, after spending the prison sentence and as a result of family conditions.

The special visit to the incentive mother came as part of the “Essaad Naziz” initiative launched by the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, with the aim of mitigating them while they were spending the period of punishment.

Colonel Jamila Al -Zaabi, Director of the Women’s Prison in the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, said that the administration of the women’s prison is continuously following inmates, and noted that the inmate isolate itself from the rest of the inmates, so it was contained, and identifying whether it needs any help, to confirm that it “misses its children who have not been able to see them for a long time.”

Colonel Al -Zaabi indicated that the administration, after it was seen on the story of the Nazila, decided to work to make it happy to meet its children, in cooperation and coordination with the Dubai Community Development Authority.

She explained that the administration told Al -Nizila that she had a visit, so she expressed her surprise, and when she went out to meet the visitor, she was surprised by her children, and she did not believe herself from the severity of the surprise, and she had strong feelings as she embraced her children, so she exploded in crying with them, and it was a very impressive moment.

Colonel Al -Zaabi affirmed the general administration of penal institutions to activate the social and humanitarian aspects, and to overcome the obstacles to communication between the inmates and their families, in order to achieve one of the strategic directions of the Dubai Police to delight society in all its spectrums.

She noted that the humanitarian programs and initiatives of Dubai Police in general, and the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions in particular, are very important, given their positive impact on consolidating the relationship and mutual trust between the police and society, and its enhancement of the values of tolerance and coexistence, and its direct contribution to alleviating the suffering of the inmates and their families.
