“Abu Dhabi District” expanded the scope of the friendly settlement of disputes by registering 40 private brochures

The Committee for Experts, Mowelines and Mediators in the Judicial Department- Abu Dhabi adopted the registration of 40 private mediators in the record of civil and commercial disputes, after passing the training program approved by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy, within the system of developing friendly solutions for conflicts and supporting national cadres qualified to carry out mediation work and providing effective alternatives to litigation before the courts.
This came during a meeting of the committee headed by His Excellency Counselor Youssef Saeed Al -Abri, Undersecretary of the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi, where the committee discussed the items on its agenda, and also approved the approval of five experts in engineering specialties, accounting, information technology, and gold jewelry, in addition to reviewing 3 requests to re -register experts in the schedule of workers.
The Judicial Department stated that the private mediator is required to be a citizen of the state, and that is excluded from non -citizens who have at least four years experience within the state in the areas of reconciliation or settlement of disputes, as it requires that the applicant be full of legal eligibility, good conduct and behavior, and that a final ruling has been issued against him in a crime that violates honor or honesty, even if he is returned to him or enforced him with an amnesty.
It is also required that he have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Sharia, Law, or any other specialized certificate, or equivalent from one of the universities or institutes recognized in the state, and that it is known as integrity, neutrality and honesty, in addition to passing the training courses and the interviews approved by the committee.
The special mediation system in civil and commercial disputes at the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi includes the issuance of the permit for individual companies and institutions wishing to practice mediation work in the emirate, provided that these parties are licensed to practice the activity in Abu Dhabi, and that they have an appropriate headquarters for brokerage sessions equipped with all the necessary facilities, while proving the technical ability to manage and settle disputes.
These bodies may hold brokerage sessions in their headquarters, whether they are law firms, legal consulting companies, or licensed experience centers, provided that the approved organizational conditions are fulfilled, and the licensed lawyers are also allowed to add mediation activity to their commercial licenses after completing the requirements.
Those wishing to submit a registration request as a special medium or registration of a licensed body can obtain the mediation, obtain the approved forms through the website of the Judicial Department, and to fill them electronically, with the attachment of the required documents, and submitting them to the mediation and reconciliation center to complete the review and presentation to the competent committee.
