Head of Islamic Affairs and Endowments: UAE youth hold the banner of values, work and creativity

Abu Dhabi, August 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, confirmed that the celebration of “International Youth Day” embodies the deep faith of the UAE with the capabilities of its youth, and the hopes that are held on them in continuing the march of the impressive state, which was based on established pillars that include national identity, society, family, science, and knowledge, indicating that they hold the banner of values and creativity.

He said that the continuation of this march is a national responsibility that falls on the youth of today, noting that the wise leadership, since the era of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, realized the importance of young people, invested in the minds of their children, and provided them with the appropriate environment and support for the acquisition of science and knowledge, to be the eye of Ain for their societies, families, leadership and country.

His Excellency added that this approach reflects the state’s keenness to empower young people and enhance their role in achieving more excellence, achievement and prosperity, and to improve the status of the country in all fields.
