“Al -Qassim Cement” expects two contracts worth 310 million riyals for a new production line and energy transformation
Al -Qassim Cement Company announced today, Thursday, the signing of two separate contracts with a total value of 310 million dollars with a company "Cinema International Engineering" For a project to establish a fourth production line at the company’s factory in Buraidah, a production capacity of 10 thousand tons per day, and the project to displace liquid fuel and turn into natural gas. The second contract, which extends for 15 months, and its value, comes 12 million dollars, within the framework of the liquid fuel displacement program, on the basis of the key delivery contract, and includes the displacement of liquid fuel and the transformation to natural gas to the current production lines at the company’s factory in Buraidah, according to the latest technologies in this field. "It is expected that both projects will contribute to enhancing energy exploitation efficiency, which will positively reflect on production costs, as of the date of commercial operation."
