$94.57 per barrel… Oil prices rise by about 5% today

Oil prices rose by about five percent today, as futures for The Dutch government Monday allocated more than 950 million euros ($1.1 billion) to compensate companies and individuals for the rise in fuel prices since the outbreak of the war between the United States and Iran.

The government said in a statement that "Energy prices are expected to remain high for the time being, even if the conflict in the Middle East ends soon".
