Historians are demanding payment of credit card rents

Housing units demanded real estate management companies to allow them to pay for rental values using credit cards, as well as traditional payment methods through checks, noting that most of these companies refuse to accept rental dues via credit cards, and prefer to pay in cash or checks.
They explained to «Emirates Today» that payment of credit cards enables the tenants to benefit from the installments of the payments that the banks offer through the cards they issue, and also reduces the chances of faltering payment through checks.
In turn, real estate saw that the idea of paying cards may be positive to avoid reflux checks, but it takes time to implement them, and is linked to the extent of acceptance of the tenant bearing the proportions of the banking commissions that are deducted when paying credit cards, and they saw that payment of rental payments with credit cards provides common benefits for both parties, the tenant and the real estate company, proposal to reach a formula The sharing of the percentage of the payment commission by the card between the tenant and the company allows this to be applied.

In detail, the tenant Mohamed Nagy told «Emirates Today» that “providing the payment of rental payments using credit cards is necessary during the current period, in light of the successive increases in the housing rental sector, which provides the tenants an option to face the burdens of those heights by using the facilities provided by some banks when using the cards issued by them in the payment, whether the ability to install the amount used Or postponement of payment, ”noting that companies refuse to provide this option now.
Naji added: “In this way, real estate companies provide additional payment facilities, and avoid problems with the payment of checks that some tenants may be exposed to,” Naji added.
For his part, the tenant Ibrahim Ali said: “In light of the high rents, it is important for real estate management companies to provide new means of paying rental payments, including the use of credit cards, just as many schools allow this to parents.” He pointed out that schools do not obtain any commission of dealers when paying educational fees with cards, because they get their dues directly, without being exposed to problems of rejoice or check Delayed payment, and commission amounts are small for real estate companies.
In the same context, the tenant, Marwan Mohamed, indicated that most real estate management companies are reservations or refuses to pay the payments of credit cards, knowing that many institutions and departments in the country currently allow the use of credit cards to pay the payments, in light of the trend to reduce the use of cash and paper that is used to print checks. He said: «Therefore, I see that real estate management companies should keep pace with these trends, especially in light of the tenants bearing the burdens of recent increases in rents.
He stressed that “facilitating the payment of rental payments with credit cards, will give tenants the ability to manage the payments more easily, with the fact that the rental payments amount to large sums.”
The tenant, Ahmed Abdel Rahman, agreed that payment of rental payments with credit cards is currently necessary, with the high rental values, and the banks available to pay through banking offers they provide, and that real estate administrations companies must apply it to their interest and the interests of the tenants, and added: “Paying the use of cards is a means of real estate companies that benefit themselves, as they obtain their rental dues directly, and avoid problems with reflux checks in If the tenant stumbles, ”calling for flexibility with the tenant, in light of his commitment to many payments due, such as school fees, auto financing payments, or personal loan, and pointed out that real estate management companies can bear the simple fees for using credit cards, in exchange for the actual benefits that will be accustomed to, which is to reduce the risk of reflux checks and obtain their entitlements immediately.

For his part, the director of the “Emperor Real Estate Company”, Dr. Shahryar Al -Attar, said that “providing the payment of rental payments with credit cards is one of the positive steps beneficial to real estate markets, but it requires preparations in companies, including providing technical devices for them, and signing agreements on them with banks.”
He believed that “providing these facilities may take time for real estate management companies, but it can be implemented or provided with an option in addition to the traditional payment methods currently available.”
In turn, the real estate expert and director of management and development at Al -Waleed Real Estate Company, Mohamed Turki, stressed that the application of rental payments with credit cards can be implemented realistically, with the availability of positive advantages for companies in reducing the opportunities for financial payment of checks with checks.
Turki continued: “But that is dependent on the acceptance of the tenants to pay the banking commissions that are deducted when using the cards payment,” noting that some tenants may refuse to bear these fees, and added: “Some real estate management companies allow that option, and other companies can prepare for that, and provide the cards payment, but in agreement with the tenants to bear the banking commissions.”
The real estate broker, Ahmed Abdullah, agreed that paying the rental payments with credit cards provides common benefits for both parties, the tenant and the real estate company, as it is a means of providing alternative payment methods for tenants that enable them to manage their expenses, and benefit from the advantages of payment offers that some banks offer, and companies are useful in ensuring that the dues are obtained directly, and avoiding the problems of reflux checks.
In response to a question about the topic bearing the commission percentage when using the card, he said: “A formula can be reached that allows the sharing of the percentage of payment commission with cards between the tenant and the company in the event of the application of these systems.”
