He also affirmed the Kingdom’s complete rejection of any attempts to impose parallel entities that conflict with the unity and territorial integrity of Somalia, its rejection of any division or reduction of its sovereignty, its support for the legitimate institutions of the Somali state, and its keenness to preserve the stability of Somalia and its brotherly people.

He called on the organization and member states to take a strict collective Islamic stance. He rejects any recognition or dealing with separatist entities in Somalia, and holds the Israeli entity fully responsible for any political or security repercussions resulting from this behavior.

The centrality of the Palestinian issue

The Deputy Foreign Minister also called for coordinated action in international forums to emphasize the unity of the Palestinian cause. He renewed the Kingdom’s emphasis on the centrality of the Palestinian issue and its support for all efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in order to enable the brotherly Palestinian people to have their right to self-determination and establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
