Dubai Islamic offers 11 million dirhams for the Dubai Schools project

The Knowledge Fund Foundation in Dubai has announced the renewal of its partnership with the Dubai Islamic Bank, which provided financial support of 11 million dirhams in the interest of the “Dubai Schools” project for the academic year 2025-2026, for the second year in a row.
This initiative comes within the framework of the Foundation’s continuous efforts to enhance strategic partnerships with the private sector, and to expand the qualitative education opportunities for eligible students, in line with the targets of Dubai’s strategy, to provide comprehensive and sustainable education.
This renewed cooperation confirms the firm commitment of Dubai to national development, as education is a major engine for comprehensive and sustainable progress, and the bank’s support for vital and effective initiatives, such as “Dubai Schools”, contributes to establishing an educational system that is in line with the Dubai Social Agency 33, in addition to that it enhances human capital by providing high -quality and affordable education, to prepare students and provide them with future skills Advanced, as this partnership is in line with the education strategy 2033, which turns the education model into an educational system that focuses on the learner, enhances lifelong learning, and prepares students to achieve success in a rapidly evolving world. On this occasion, the Executive Director of the Knowledge Fund Foundation in Dubai, Abdullah Mohammed Al -Awar said: “We thank Dubai Islamic Bank for renewing their support to prepare a distinctive educational environment in the (Dubai Schools) project, as the renewal of support from the bank reflects the strength of the partnerships adopted by the Knowledge Fund Foundation with the private sector, and also confirms that investment in education is no longer an option, but a national necessity.

It is worth noting that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, had announced the “Dubai Schools” project in March 2021, where the first two schools were opened in the Mirdif and Al Barasa regions in September of the same year, and they were followed by the opening of the third school in Nad Al -Sheba area in 2022, and the number of students currently registered in schools affiliated with the project is more than 2,500 students And a student of 38 nationalities. Within the framework of the development plans for this project, a new school was opened in the Al-Khawaneej area and the expansion of the Al-Barsha Branch in 2024, which contributes to raising the maximum absorptive capacity to more than 8,500 academic seats in the three branches within the project, and these expansions aim to raise the total capacity to 15 thousand students by the academic year 2032-2033.
The Knowledge Fund Foundation confirms that the contributions of the private sector are an essential element in advancing the project development and enhancing its sustainability, which opens wider horizons for students who are entitled to obtain qualitative educational opportunities in a stimulating and comprehensive environment.
