With the participation of the UAE.. the launch of the “Arabian Gulf Security 4” exercise in Qatar

In the sisterly State of Qatar, the activities of the joint tactical exercise of the security services in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, “Arab Gulf Security (4),” were launched, with the participation of an Emirati security force, along with the forces and agencies of member states, and specialized units from the United States of America.
The launch of the exercise came under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force “Lekhwiya” in the State of Qatar, in the presence of a number of senior security officials from the GCC countries, including the heads of the Supreme Committees for the exercise, and leaders and officers of the participating agencies.
The exercise will continue until the fourth of next February, and includes the implementation of more than (70) field hypotheses, exceeding (260) training hours, to cover complex security scenarios related to combating terrorism and organized crime, emergencies and protecting facilities, in addition to command and control operations and joint coordination between specialized operations rooms.
Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Ahmad, Head of the Emirati Force for the Arabian Gulf Security Exercise (4), confirmed that participation in the exercise embodies the UAE’s commitment to developing Gulf security cooperation systems, and enhancing readiness and joint response to various risks and threats, noting that the exercise represents an important station for testing operational plans, raising the efficiency of the participating forces, and exchanging experiences with friendly Gulf security agencies.
The “Arabian Gulf Security” exercise is considered one of the most prominent training stations in the Gulf security system, as it provides a realistic operational environment that contributes to unifying concepts, enhancing levels of coordination and field integration, and developing multilateral response capabilities in the face of emerging security challenges.
