Abu Dhabi, August 18/ WAM/ The Board of Directors of the Emirates Financial Institute announced today, the appointment of Marwan Al -Muhairi as General Director of the Institute.

Marwan Al -Muhairi has a wide experience of more than 23 years in the banking sector and global financial services, as it has a record of leading transformative projects in international markets, developing competencies, and paying growth in the financial sector.

Al -Muhairi will be responsible for leading the institute’s strategic direction, with a focus on refining the skills of national cadres to hold major leadership positions, and support Emiratization initiatives in the sector.

Throughout his career, he showed a strategic insight and an innovative mentality, as well as a firm commitment to excellence, which are basic ingredients that help the institute in achieving its mission to enable the financial sector by providing training, acquaintances and global leadership leaders.

The appointment of Al -Muhairi comes in a pivotal period of the institute’s march, as it seeks to develop its strategic initiatives to support the UAE’s vision in building a knowledge -based economy, enhancing Emiratization efforts, and stimulating innovation in financial education and vocational development.
