"Sail" To jump barriers, it is launched in Germany with participation "Elite knights"

Monster on August 20/ WAM/ The “Tourner Deir Ziger” championship will be launched, to jump barriers in the German city of Monster, from August 21 to 24, under the main sponsorship of the sail stables, with the participation of the world’s elite, and financial awards of 300,000 euros.

Since its inception in 1955, the championship is one of the most prominent equestrian activities in Germany, as it combines luxury, a spirit of sporting excellence, and the distinctive atmosphere of the “Shalosbils” square in Monster.

The championship will witness various activities for 4 days from Thursday to Sunday, along with high international sports competitions, starting from small horse competitions and taming competitions, to the grand prize of the four -star category, with the participation of elite Al -Fursan.

The partnership between the “sail stables” with the championship is the first of its kind, to consolidate the status of the global sail, and its strategy in supporting and organizing major championships with historical heritage.

The audience will have the opportunity to follow a selection of Knights of the world, most notably Marcus Ihaning, Cristian, Ahmon, the knight Omar Abdel Aziz Al Marzouki, and the rising star Robert Murphy.

Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fatima Bint Mubarak for Women’s Sports, President of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for Women, owner and founder of sail stables, the honorary president of the championship, expressed her pride in the care of this historic event, especially since this ancient tournament embodies the values of traditions, passion, excellence, and partnership between man and horse.

Sheikha Fatima bint Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that equestrian is not only a sport, but is part of the Emirati heritage, national heritage, established values, inspired by our wise leadership, the symbol of strength, beauty and dedication, and uniting the peoples of the world in the crucible of authentic sport.

She added that the city of Monster was chosen to embrace the championship, because it represents the culture of equestrian, with the distinction of its equestrian community, thanks to the efforts of educators and knights, organizers of events, and all workers, to show the importance and value of horse competitions.
