Abu Dhabi, August 21/ WAM/ Emirati women continue to consolidate their presence in various fields of national action, including the social field, which emerges as one of the most important areas in which the UAE daughter showed exceptional competence.

And Emirati women have proven that she is an active partner in building a coherent society, through their contribution to community initiatives and volunteer work in addition to their pivotal role within the family as a nanny and a sponsor of values.

His Excellency Salama Al -Amimi, Director General of the Family Welfare Authority, said that the family is the basic building block on which societies are based, and women provide a pivotal role in the formation of the family and the upbringing of generations, which makes achieving a balance between professional excellence and family empowerment is an important priority in Abu Dhabi, a fruit of wise government policies and legislation, integrated institutional support, and a community culture that appreciates the role of women in all fields.

She added that the Family Welfare Authority is keen to ensure that women are empowered in their family and in the labor market, by paving the way for them and providing promising opportunities for them by providing specialized care and consulting programs.

Al -Amimi pointed to the pivotal role that Emirati women play in achieving the goals of the Family Welfare Authority and their vision for which they were founded, as women represent more than 70% of workers in the authority, specifically in the roles related to providing care, guidance, family and psychological support.

She explained that the celebration of “a day in Emirati women” under the slogan “hand in hand we celebrate the fifty” is a celebration of fifty years of empowerment, motivation, achievement and success, during which Emirati women were able to put a firm imprint in various fields through witnessed achievements, until it became an example to be followed in regional and global circles.

For its part, Fatima Rashid Al -Kaabi, director of the Quality brand program for a supportive work environment for parents, said that Emirati women have exceeded with our wise leadership all challenges and have become an effective contribution and an influential leader in all sectors of science, business, technology, and politics.

She drew attention to the influential roles played by Emirati women in the various joints of life, and their ability to balance her professional success and her pivotal role in building family and contributing to generations.

Al -Kaabi referred to the important presence of Emirati women in the Abu Dhabi Early Children’s Authority, and the roles that they play as a leader, innovative and professional that contribute to the formulation of initiatives and programs that touch the lives of each individual along the emirates of the country.

For its part, His Excellency Dr. Fatima Al -Falasi, Director General of the Women’s Renaissance Association in Dubai, affirmed that the association has strengthened the empowerment of women and their ability to manage their family and contribute to the development of society, increase awareness, build self -confidence, resource management and overcome the difficulties they face.

She added that the association launched several programs and initiatives in recent years, the most prominent of which is the Investment Renaissance Festival for Business Youth, the training qualification program “Sanad” to support families with low incomes “, and the initiative of my profession in my hand for a better tomorrow, and the” reassurance “initiative that is concerned with qualifying mothers based on supporting families” unilateral families “and needs support and qualification to play their role in building a conscious family Stable and solve the problems that they will face in raising children.

She pointed out that the association is working to activate education and ethics, and to rely on the constants for the manufacture of the coherent family and the cohesion society, and it provides the culture of the UAE and its society and with pride full of a coherent society of an extended family nature, based on the role of the association and its strategic goal, which is to spread community and national awareness in all its fields between the family segments and the rooting of the system of values and national identity, and the family’s empowerment And build her capabilities to qualify her to play her roles in building a happy, happy society.

She stated that the association has achieved a set of achievements that enhance family and societal cohesion, holding a series of collective weddings, launching the hotline to receive family and marital consultations through specialized consultants, receiving a number of cases of family disputes and solving them amicably, in addition to holding a set of courses, consultations, programs, seminars and forums in the field of family bonding.

On the humanitarian side, Al -Falasi pointed to what the Women’s Renaissance Association is doing in Dubai in cooperation with charitable societies in the country, to provide humanitarian aid inside and outside the country.

For its part, Mona Saqr Al -Matroushi, Director General of the Ajman Association for Social and Cultural Development, praised the role of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, who contributed greatly to supporting women in all sectors, and was able to achieve achievements not only at the local but also global level.
She emphasized that Emirati women are a partner in the comprehensive development witnessed by the state, in their presence and participation in all governmental and private sectors and their leadership contributions in various educational, health and economic fields and their prominent political and diplomatic representation.

She explained that the Emirati woman who has the confidence of the wise leadership has proven to the world that it represents the exceptional model of women who maintain their authenticity, values and traditions on the one hand, and their ability to adapt to contemporary developments and innovation on the other hand.

For its part, Rehab Al -Mansouri, Advisor to the Secretary -General of the Higher Committee for Humanitarian Brotherhood, affirmed that the celebration of “Emirati Women’s Day” is a tribute to a march full of achievements made by the UAE daughter in various fields, thanks to the support and vision of the wise leadership.

She pointed out that women occupy in the Supreme Committee of the Humanitarian Brotherhood many leaders and leadership positions, and actively participate in achieving vision and implementing goals, explaining that the committee was keen to involve women in various initiatives and humanitarian projects implemented.

In the same context, Sheikha Al -Suwaidi, Director of Governmental Communication Department at the General Secretariat of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, confirmed that the Emirati Women’s Day is a worthy estimate of the giving of women and their influencing contributions in all fields, especially in the fields of humanitarian work, noting that the number of volunteers in the authority reached 13,475 volunteers, which reflects the presence of the active woman in the arenas of giving.
