The Egyptian Blueger, known as “Jordanian Suzy”, faces a new charge, “contempt of religions”, after the decision to renew her imprisonment for 15 days pending investigations into cases related to broadcasting videos of modesty and involvement in money laundering.

The competent authorities began investigating them after reports accusing them of insulting religious symbols and holy sites through one of the videos, while her lawyer confirmed that his client did not deliberately offend religious symbols.

He added in statements to the local press that “what happened is a deliberate manipulation of exploiting its name in the trend industry and insulting its reputation,” stressing that “his defense will provide what proves its good intent before the prosecution.”

On the other hand, investigations with “Jordanian Suzy” on charges of “washing an estimated amount of 15 million pounds, most of which were spent on buying apartments and luxurious accessories, are still trying to hide the illegal money source,” according to the text of the report filed against it.
