Abu Dhabi, August 28 / WAM / The Emirates Council for Development concluded the program “Summer of the UAE villages”, whose activities and activities have been held during the past two months in various regions and villages of the country, where the program aimed to invest the times of various members of society from senior citizens, youth and children to develop their skills and refine their experiences and build their scientific capabilities in a way that contributes to enhancing their perceptions and knowledge prospects in various social, cultural and economic fields And tourism, in line with the strategic priorities of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development.
His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Bakhit Al -Kaabi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Balanced Development Council, said that this summer program targeted all age groups in different regions such as “Qaddaa, Marafout and Rams”, as the program implemented a set of activities, programs, cultural, societal, heritage, sports and recreational workshops and awareness and training workshops during the allocated time period, which focused greatly on establishing the values of national identity and preserving The authentic Emirati heritage, developing creativity, innovation and positive thinking skills, stimulating talents in various sectors, providing solutions and treatments of various challenges, developing multiple economic opportunities, developing distinctive tourism destinations in all villages and regions of the Emirates, as well as providing an interactive environment between different age groups, and promoting community cohesion and family bonding.
His Excellency added that the number of participants in the various activities and activities of “the summer of the Emirates villages” exceeded more than 620 participants from different age groups and nationalities, where the participants were characterized by enhancing the values of cohesion and societal interdependence, the development of cognitive skills, and the development of scientific capabilities in various societal, cultural, economic and tourism fields, pointing out that the Emirates Balanced Development Council focuses on supporting bonding and cooperation between all regions The villages are in line with the vision of the wise leadership towards building a strong, strong and prosperous society, in translation of the goals of the year of society 2025 under the slogan “Hand in hand”.
