The National Anti -Narcotics Agency and the Cyber Security Council are looking to enhance cooperation

Abu Dhabi, August 28 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti -Narcotics Agency, met with His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al -Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security of the UAE government, during an official visit to the headquarters of the Cyber Security Council to see the activities of the Council and its efforts in protecting digital infrastructure and strengthening the cybersecurity system.
The visit comes within the framework of the fruitful and continuous cooperation between the various bodies and institutions of the state with the Cyber Security Council within the framework of the continuous efforts to discuss ways to protect society from digital threats.
At the beginning of the visit, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Hamad Al -Kuwaiti congratulated His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the issuance of the Federal Decree to establish the “National Anti -Narcotics Agency” and appoint His Excellency as head of the agency.
His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad listened during the visit to a detailed presentation on the initiatives and projects implemented by the council in the field of promoting digital confidence and addressing electronic attacks, in addition to its awareness programs directed to institutions and individuals to build a safe and sustainable digital environment, and the council’s efforts in protecting the cyberspace, which is closely related to the work of the National Anti -Narcotics Agency.
His Excellency emphasized the mutations caused by artificial intelligence in the field of drug protection, especially by analyzing huge quantities of data from various sources such as “health records, school reports, the pattern of using the Internet with conscious consent, and even monitoring communication patterns in a strict legal framework”, where advanced artificial intelligence systems can identify individuals or areas most vulnerable to the risk of drug spread and addiction of all kinds, which allows directing resources Prevention and supportive interventions in a proactive and specific manner.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al -Kuwaiti emphasized the continuous coordination between the Cyber Security Council and the National Anti -Narcotics Agency in a way that contributes to the development of joint work mechanisms to combat organized crime, whether traditional or digital.
The Kuwaiti stressed the importance of integrating technical expertise with security efforts to face cross -border challenges, stressing that electronic crimes constitute a major outlet for drug smuggling networks by exploiting digital platforms, encryption techniques and social engineering methods.
He pointed out that the malicious authorities are employing artificial intelligence and technical means that are burning in their operations to target young people and youth and promote harmful and malicious behaviors through various modern technologies, electronic games and other digital means that are misused in light of the accelerated technological development.
During the meeting, the attendees stressed the need for solidarity to confront the risk risks and threats and the importance of using modern technologies in a way that confronts with drugs by improving and adapting awareness campaigns where technology capabilities and modern technologies can be adapted to be a huge platform for smart and intended awareness, where modern technologies can provide attractive awareness content and these technologies can provide immediate answers to sensitive questions in secret and specially, and correct Mental concepts, providing initial psychological support, and directing users to specialized assistance services when needed, which makes the reliable information within the reach of everyone, at any time and from anywhere.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al -Kuwaiti, affirmed the continued cooperation between the Cyber Security Council and the National Anti -Narcotics Agency within the framework of strengthening the national drug control system, and unifying federal and local efforts in addressing this scourge in a way that enhances the security of society and protects its members.
They stressed that strengthening and protecting drug prevention efforts are not merely a healthy priority, but rather a societal responsibility, empowering individuals, especially the youth category, from awareness, knowledge and ability to resist the risks of drug risk by supporting active community programs, enhancing the role of the family, and benefiting from modern technologies to monitor the spread and combat of harmful materials, and establish a culture of prevention as a collective approach.
