The forces explained that they seized (23) equipment used in bulldozing and transporting soil.

The Special Forces of Environmental Security arrested a citizen in violation of the environmental law; For not adhering to the instructions and guidelines for maintaining Vegetation by setting fires in places other than those designated for them in the Tuwaiq Nature Reserve, and legal procedures were applied against him.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for setting fires in places other than those designated for them in forests and national parks is a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.
They were required to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. Medina, Riyadh, and Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any responsibility on the part of the person reporting.
