The new basketball union distributes its administrative “bags”

Yesterday, the Board of the Basketball Federation held its first meeting at its headquarters in Dubai, after the election of its new board of directors headed by Abdullatif Al-Fardan, during which the administrative portfolios for the electoral cycle 2024-2028 were distributed.

Al -Fardan welcomed the members of the new council, and thanked the members of the General Assembly.

Al -Fardan also thanked the former members of the Board of Directors for their efforts and tireless work for the sake of the game, wishing the new members an electoral session that promotes the level of the game.

Administrative positions came to grant Salem Al -Mutawa the duties of the Secretary -General, Hamdan Al -Zaabi, the position of Assistant Secretary -General and Chairman of the 3×3 Committee, while Farid Al -Qaiouni was granted the duties of the head of the Finance Committee, and Ali Al -Amir assumed the duties of the head of the technical committee in the Federation, Muhammad Saleh, Chairman of the Referees and Law Committee, and Ibrahim Al -Hattawi as Chairman of the Community Events Committee, and Ghaly Al -Mazmi, the duties of the head of the Women’s Committee.

The Executive Office of the Federation, consisting of Abdullatif Al -Fardan as president, Farid Al -Quwaini as a deputy, and the membership of Salem Al -Mutawa, Hamdan Al -Zaabi and Ali Al -Amiri.
