An American court requires that the majority of Trump customs duties be appointed

Washington, August 30 / WAM / An American federal appeal court ruled that the majority of the customs duties imposed by President Donald Trump, confirming the ruling of a lower court.
The Court of Appeal of the Federal Department by a majority of 7 votes against 4, a lower court decision that concluded that Trump exceeded his authority to exploit the emergency economic powers to impose customs duties on the goods imported from many countries, but the judges allowed to keep customs duties valid until mid -October, which will allow the parties to refer the case to the Supreme Court.
Trump responded to the court’s ruling, through his platform, “Truth Suchal”, saying: “All customs duties are still valid,” considering that the Court of Appeal issued “a wrong ruling, but it knows that the United States will eventually win.”
He added, “The judges issued a very biased decision,” saying that “if the customs duties will be canceled, it will be a real disaster for the country and I will appeal before the Supreme Court.”
It should be noted that Trump imposed since his return to the White House last January, additional fees on the products received to his country ranging from 10% and 50%.
The American administration began applying large increases in customs duties rates to almost all commercial partners on August 7, where the Data of the Ministry of Treasury revealed, on Monday, that the government gathered until August 22, $ 29.6 billion in customs and consumer taxes combined since the beginning of this month, which is equivalent to the total of what was collected for the whole month of July; While this total number on July 22 reached 7.8 billion dollars, the collections of customs duties may vary from day to day.
