The Emirates swimming team raises its score to 7 medals in the Arab Championship in Morocco

Casablanca on August 30 / WAM / The Emirates swimming team continued its brilliance in the fourth Arab Championship for Sunni Ages, currently held in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, raising its score to 7 colored medals with 3 golds, 3 silver and one bronze.
Today’s competitions witnessed the swimmer Hussein Shawky first place and the gold medal in the 50-meter free race (youth category 17-18 years) with a time of 22.88 seconds, achieving a new record for the championship, adding to his previous gold in the 50-meter butterfly race.
The swimming also won the silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle (17-18 years) with a time of 27.74 seconds, to add it to its former bronze in the 100-meter freestyle.
In the past few days, the team achieved the gold of the 800 meters free race, and the silver of the 200 -meter free race, through the Rahim of its request, in addition to the silver of the sequence race 4 x 100 meters mixed free, to increase its total balance to 7 medals that reflect the distinguished level of Emirati swimmers and their ability to ascend the Arab and international coronation platforms.
