Ibn Bey from the summit of Malaysia: Humanity faces existential challenges that require urgent work and comprehensive cooperation

In his speech during the opening session of the second international summit of religious leaders, organized by the Islamic World Association in cooperation with the Malaysian government, under the auspices of the state of Dato Sri Anwar Bin Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, His Excellency provided an accurate diagnosis of the contemporary reality, explaining that despite the tremendous technical acceleration and the breadth of human communication circles, the world witnesses a dangerous escalating in conflicts and an exacerbation of environmental and health crises Food.

His Excellency moved to analyze the reasons for this reality, indicating that it is a product of complex overlap between the factors of the present and the implications of the past, and that the race of influence and the expansion of global powers has made the world more turbulent and tense, which requires a serious pause to find solutions.

To confront these challenges, His Excellency the scholar Ibn Bayah presented before the summit that brings together a group of scholars, religious leaders and decision makers from all over the world, an integrated vision from three axes, calling for the necessity of activating the role of religious leaders in searching for humanitarian parties between religions, and returning to religious texts to inspire the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence.

He stressed the importance of strengthening reconciliations and mediation and caring for spiritual education, up to the supreme goal of transforming religious principles and covenants into tangible practical programs that contribute to building a more peaceful and cooperative world.

In this context, His Excellency pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Peace Forum, based on this vision, has worked during the past years with many international institutions and personalities to spread the values ​​of peace, as an urgent necessity in light of the conflicts witnessed by the world that threaten global stability.

His Excellency emphasized that the summit represents a university platform for religious leaders of various religions and cultures to enhance constructive communication and purposeful dialogue, praising the efforts made by the Islamic World League in spreading the values ​​of coexistence and tolerance.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing that the required role of the participants is to make the utmost efforts to achieve the purpose of peace and wellness for humanity, asking God that peace prevail throughout the world, and to reconcile the participants in transforming hope into a reality that illuminates the present and future of humanity.
