"Sharjah Culture" It announces its annual festivals and permanent forums

Sharjah, August 31 / WAM / The Sharjah Culture Department announced its annual festivals and permanent forums, which runs from next September to August 2026, and includes more than 40 festivals and a forum at local, Arab and international levels in a move aimed at strengthening Sharjah’s pioneering role in the varied cultural, intellectual and creative movement.
His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Owais, head of the department, said that the organization of more than 40 festivals and a forum at local, Arab and international levels is an embodiment of the cultural, knowledge and creative momentum that Sharjah pursues, and reflects the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in perpetuating cultural activation and harnessing efforts to make culture, arts and creativity basic pillars in public life to become a world Among the people.
He added that the various cultural events within the program contribute to building a distinct cultural environment that allows Arab intellectuals to present their creativity and continuous participation in festivals, evenings, seminars and theatrical performances, pointing out that the Department of Culture offers in the framework of the program prizes in various literary races to encourage creators and also grant honors for prominent cultural stature in recognition of their role in enriching the cultural scene.
The first activities of the Culture Department begins from the Sharjah Forum for the narration on the ninth of next September; In the Arab Republic of Egypt, it will be resolved as a new Arab station for the twenty -first session, followed by the launch of the Kalba Festival for Short Players in its twelfth session.
And next October will witness the start of the seventh session of the Marrakesh Festival of Moroccan Poetry and the inauguration of the seventh session of the Kalba Cultural Festival, while the Mafraq Festival for Arab Poetry celebrates its tenth session.
The next November is filled with the Islamic Arts Festival in its new session (26) under the slogan “Siraj”, while the Egyptian audience will be on a date with the Luxor Festival for Arab Poetry in its tenth session.
December 2025 holds many events, starting from the Sharjah Award for Fine Monitoring Research at its 6th session, followed by the Sharjah Festival for the Sahrawi Theater in its ninth session, and the celebration of the House of Poetry in Sharjah on the International Day of the Arabic Language, then the Kairouan Festival for Arab Poetry in its tenth session, and the Jorvakkan Cultural Masterpiece “5”, and Sharjah for the 13th session.
The new year starts 2026 events at the 22nd Sharjah Festival of Arab Poetry, with January the 24th edition of the Sharjah Cultural Honor Forum in Tunisia, and the Khorfakkan theater festival at its eleventh session.
Cultural events continue, where in February 2026, the Sharjah Festival for Nabati Poetry will be organized in its 20th session, the days of Wadi Al -Helou for the popular group in its ninth session, and the Nouakchott Festival for Arabic Poetry at its eleventh session.
Mars begins to celebrate the International Day of Poetry in the House of Poetry and organize the theatrical days of Sharjah in its thirty -fifth session, and the month’s activities will be concluded by honoring the authors of the Culture Department’s publications for the year 2025.
The Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring will continue next April, as it will be in its twenty -fifth session in Egypt, while it continues its transportation towards Jordan to organize the twenty -sixth session, as the same month will witness the organization of the art of shows in the House of Poetry and the Fifth Dibba Al -Hosn Festival, while Sharjah also celebrates the winners of the twenty -ninth session of the Sharjah Prize for Arab Creativity (the first version) that will be held in a palace Culture.
May witnesses the launch of five events: the Tetouan Festival of Moroccan Poets in its seventh session, the exhibition of the Sharjah Center for Calligraphy, the 13th session of the Sharjah School Theater Festival in two phases (preliminary and closing), and the Dibba Al -Hisn Festival for the bilateral theater in its ninth session.
In June, the Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring is dissolved in its twenty -seventh session in Morocco and its twenty -eighth session in Mauritania.
In July, the Arab poetry forums in Africa will inaugurate the fifth session in Chad, Guinea, Banin and Ivory Coast, to be completed by its tour in August in the countries of Senegal, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and South Sudan.
The 13th theatrical session will be organized at its 13th session at the Cultural Center in Kalba in August 2026.
