Dubai, August 31 / WAM / The curtain was brought down today on the Cup of Vice President of the State for Jujitsu, which was held in Al -Ahly Youth Club for two days, with wide participation from various clubs and academies of the country, and the second day witnessed the finals of all the participating groups.
At the end of the competitions, the Sharjah Sports Sports Club won the under -14 category title, and Al Ain Club won the title of a category under 16, while the top of the under -18 category went to Al -Jazira Club, and Bani Yas Jogitsu Club won the title of adult category.
Fahd Ali Al -Shamsi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, congratulated the winning clubs and academies, and thanked Al -Ahly Youth Club Dubai for hosting the championship, stressing that clubs and academies are a basic pillar in the system of success of jujitsu in the country.
Al -Shamsi described the Cup of the Vice President Cup as a prominent station in the annual sporting agenda, because of its distinctive technical and societal dimensions, indicating that this version witnessed exceptional competitions that showed the efforts of clubs and academies, and contributed effectively to the discovery and refinement of young talents of all ages.
Zayed Al -Kaabi, Al Ain Club coach, said: Today we succeeded in achieving the title of an under 16 years of age, and the second place in the under 14 and 18 categories, expressing his aspiration to continue the club’s achievements and achieve additional titles that establish his position and achievements on the local scene.
Ribamar Santiago, the coach of Baniyas Club, stressed that achieving this achievement came thanks to the efforts of the administration, coaches and all workers in the club, and the commitment that the players show in the training and development they are achieving, as a result of their insistence on providing a distinguished performance.
Sultan Al -Kaabi, Bani Yas player, expressed his pride in this achievement and the achievement of the title of adults category, noting that the players spent a long time in preparation and training in preparation for participating in this important tournament, which witnessed strong competitions with the participation of distinguished players.
Haret Al Hammadi, Al -Jazira club player, confirmed that winning the title of an under 18 years of age would motivate us to seek to achieve more achievements in the upcoming championships.
