The Minister of Education explained in his speech during the opening ceremony that the education and training sector enjoys continuous support from the wise leadership – may God support it – in accordance with the objectives of the human capacity development program and Saudi Vision 2030.

With the aim of transforming education into an economic sector and a national production platform, and linking it to investment to enhance its role as a main driver of sustainable growth, by providing legislative, regulatory, operational and financial capabilities that enhance Participation of the public, private and non-profit sectors, and contributes to improving the investment system in education.

He added that the Ministry of Education is working to enhance integration with the private and non-profit sectors, and to create an advanced educational environment through enabling policies for foreign investment in education, in addition to preparing an investor guide, which aims to create legislative and regulatory capabilities that ensure the achievement of lucrative returns for investors, and the provision of quality educational services to beneficiaries within a clear and stable regulatory path.

Minister Al-Benyan praised the institutional and governed integration between all parties within the education and training system, through capabilities that grant operational independence and financial capabilities, appreciating the active role of the private sector in supporting education and training paths, and stressing at the conclusion of his speech the Ministry of Education’s keenness to invest in people to achieve the aspirations of the leadership and the nation, through the development of values, skills and knowledge; So that the citizen can be competitive locally, regionally and internationally.

The Minister of Education witnessed the signing of 12 agreements and memorandums of understanding between the education and training system and a number of governmental, national and international agencies, which included areas of investment in education, development of training programs, capacity building, and support for innovation. They aim to enhance cooperation between government agencies, educational institutions, the private sector and financing bodies, and support strategic partnerships to develop the education and training system, raise the efficiency of outputs, and expand investment opportunities in the sector.

As a result, The Minister of Education honored a number of distinguished students in international competitions, including the winners of the Asian Skills Competition 2025 and the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF), in recognition of their scientific achievements and in support of the path of excellence and innovation.

The Education and Training Investment Forum, whose second edition is held under the slogan “Invest for Impact,” continues over two days (January 25 and 26) in the city Riyadh, with the participation of more than 1,500 participants from government leaders, educational institutions, the financial and investment sectors, entrepreneurs and innovators in the fields of education.
