Dubai Marine launches an initiative to support luxury yacht tourism

The Dubai Marine Authority at the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation has announced the launch of the “Dock & Dine” initiative, in cooperation with the Dubai Department of Economics and Tourism, in a move aimed at enhancing the short residences of yacht in Dubai, and consolidating the emirate’s position as a global destination for yacht, as well as enhancing its distinguished presence among the best preferred destinations on the map of global dining tourism.
The initiative includes the most prominent 20 berths and a naval station in Dubai, to provide a comprehensive concept about eating experiences in the anchors at the level of the region, in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agenda D33 aimed at consolidating the emirate’s position as one of the best cities in the world for business and entertainment.
The “Doc & Din” initiative was designed to be an ideal choice for those wishing to enjoy a short residence in Dubai, the finest unique dining experiences on the waterfront, as it allows yachts owners, crews and guests to reach a carefully selected list of restaurants, luxury hotels, cultural attractions and entertainment places, starting from their place in the city’s moorings.
Guests can sail to different ports and restaurants, and enjoy a variety of luxury cuisine in beautiful sites with picturesque looks, during the period of its average between 45 minutes and an hour to move between destinations.
The most prominent advantages of the initiative include providing free placement places for yacht in the marinchers and marine stations included in the initiative, and a quick response to reservation requests through the reservation window, ranged between five minutes and an hour, and the ability to communicate directly with restaurants to organize the reservation details, in addition to a dedicated service to ensure the transfer of guests to and from the port easily and smoothly.
Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Dubai Naval Authority said: “The (Doc & Din) initiative reflects the advanced approach to the development of maritime navigation and its complementary services, and we have succeeded in upgrading navigation laws and enhancing operational operations in a comprehensive manner, based on the wise leadership vision of the future of the tourism sector in the emirate, and the firm cooperation between the government and the sector partners, and this initiative aims to this initiative to Attracting tourists, providing a luxurious experience for yachts guests, allowing them to reach smooth access to the finest destinations and obtaining a global level level. ”
For his part, Issam Kazem, the Executive Director of the Dubai Tourism and Trade Marketing Foundation, affiliated with the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department, said: “(Doc & Din) is an innovative initiative to enhance the experience of marine tourism in Dubai, and it embodies the inspiring vision of our rational leadership for the future of the tourism sector, and contributes to establishing the city’s position as a global center for yacht.”

The list of marks and marine stations participating in the “Doc & Din” initiative includes: the Seif Marina, the Bulgari Marina, the Creek Marina Club of Yacht, the Dubai Islands Marina, the Dubai Creek Marina, the Dubai Harboric Market Palm Azur, Palm East Vista Marie, Marsa Palm Jumeirah, Palm West Club, Port de la Mer, Marina Umm Suqeim (1), and Marsa Umm Suqeim (2).
