A global Saudi guide to support electronic waste management legislation
The Communications, Space and Technology Authority launched, in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union, "A comprehensive global guide for developing e -waste policies and organizations". Paraguay; In order to enable policy and organizations to formulate and implement effective national legislation that supports the shift towards the circular economy. The guide targets government agencies organizing the communications and technical sectors, which specialize in achieving environmental sustainability, specifically in countries that do not have policies or regulations with electronic waste or that work to develop them, by providing flexible and integrated guidance tools to address the most prominent challenges in the field. An initiative’s output "Developing electronic waste management organizations" The authority launched in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union within the work of the global symposium for communications organizers 2023, and contributes to laying the foundation stone for building organizations and standards to reduce electronic waste globally.
