Meat, chicken, and fish prices stabilized and fish rose in Saudi Arabia during February

The prices of meat, chicken, and fish witnessed varying price movements in the Saudi markets during the month of February, as the prices of red meat stabilized, the prices of chicken declined slightly, while the prices of fish witnessed varying increases, compared to the previous month of January." target="_blank"> Prices of goodsand services for February 2026, issued by the General Authority for Statistics. The price of fresh beef increased slightly to record 52.9 riyals per kilo compared to 52.6 riyals in the previous January. Regarding local lamb, the price of a kilo fell by 0.4% to 66.6 riyals in February, compared to 66.9 riyals in the previous January. As for imported chilled lamb, it rose by 2% to 55.6 riyals, compared to 54.5 riyals in the previous month. The price of fresh camel meat increased by 1.1% to 54.5 riyals, compared to 53.9 riyals in the previous January.
Chicken prices
according to data "Statistics"The price of local fresh chicken (1 kg) recorded 17.4 riyals, rising by 1.2%, while local frozen chicken (900 g) remained unchanged at 18.8 riyals, and imported frozen chicken rose by 0.5% to record 18 riyals in February, compared to 17.9 riyals in the previous month. The price of fresh chicken thighs (450 g) decreased to 9.8 riyals, a decrease of 1%, and fresh chicken breast fillets decreased by the same percentage to 20.5 riyals.
Fish prices
The price of Fresh kingfish increased by 1.2% during the month of February to record 68 riyals compared to 67.2 riyals in January, and grouper increased by 2.2% to 57.4 riyals, and shrimp increased by 1.6% to 80.1 riyals.
