10.78 billion dollars in the current account surplus in Korea during July
Seoul on September 4/ WAM/ Data issued by the Central Bank of Korea showed today, Thursday, that the Republic of Korea achieved the largest surplus in the current account during the month of July thanks to strong exports, reaching $ 10.78 billion, recording its highest level in any of the months of July ever, although it decreased compared to 14.27 billion dollars registered during last June.
The Korean “Yonhap” news agency reported that Korea has achieved a surplus in the current account for the twenty -seventh month in a row since May 2023.
She added that during the first seven months of this year, the cumulative surplus in the current account reached 60.51 billion dollars, an increase of 22% compared to 49.21 billion dollars during the same period of the previous year.
