The exhibition sheds light on efforts to protect the symbolic types of the desert environment, such as hawks, camels and wild birds, through pioneering scientific programs and integrated environmental initiatives, in a scene that reflects a unique balance between originality and renewal, and between pride in the national identity and the future vision of preserving natural heritage.

The Sheikh Zayed Program for Falcons in the Wilds is one of the most prominent achievements of the UAE in the field of preserving the environment, as it started from Abu Dhabi in 1995, and until May 2025 was able to re -launch 2,355 falcons of the two types of heat and Shaheen in the wilderness in different areas in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. During the current year, 81 falcons (53 Shaheen and 28 free) were launched, all of which were equipped with electronic slides for definition and satellite -powered satellite tracking devices to monitor their paths and ensure their survival in its natural environments.

The Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital, one of the largest specialized hospitals in the world, is a major axis in these efforts, by conducting health tests and rehabilitation, in addition to organizing the practice of falconry legally and providing awareness and educational programs, and the wild hawks are transported annually from Abu Dhabi to the launch sites chosen on traditional immigration methods, in a way that ensures the continuation of these types and the protection of environmental balance, and besides birds, remain, remain Camels are an eternal symbol of Emirati culture and steadfastness. In the 2025 edition of the exhibition, the Emirates Center for Biotechnology Research revealed a prominent scientific achievement represented in the cloning of camels for camel races and their beauty, and this center works in cooperation between Emirati experts and Koreans to preserve the authentic strains by cloning camels using preserved tissue samples, and among the most prominent famous camels “Mabroukan”, which has passed away in the year 2010, and her genetic life was returned in the year 2021 through several cloned copies, some of which reached a market value of more than 60 million dirhams, and visitors had the opportunity to see two of these camels, in a scene that embodies the conversion of traditions with the latest science.

Dr. Ghobsha Al -Ketbi, the veterinary doctor and researcher at the center, explained that cloning aims mainly to support biological diversity and enhance the genetic ability to adapt, and that cooperation with Korean experts enabled the introduction of the latest cloning techniques into the Emirates, in order to preserve the distinguished strains in camel races and camels competitions, and ensures their continuity for future generations despite environmental changes.

Abu Dhabi’s vision of hawks and camels does not stop, as the emirate also leads leading efforts in protecting and multiplying the Houbara bird, which is historically linked to the sport of falconry, as through the World Fund for the Preservation of Houbara, until 2024, about 888 thousand birds were spilled and more than 535 thousand were launched in the wilderness across 18 countries, which contributed to the stability of its wild numbers and the preservation of its environmental role.

The exhibition embodies this balance between originality and sustainability, as it is not limited to the width of camels and hawks, but also offers the latest innovations such as running aircraft designated for falcon training, and trying simulation devices, in a way that reduces pressure from wild birds and maintains this ancient sport according to the standards of global sustainability, and Abu Dhabi proves that progress and preservation of inheritance can walk side by side, through a unique mixture It combines science, environmental care and cultural pride, to put a leading global model in protecting wildlife and preserving the natural heritage of future generations.
