The ruler of Ras Al Khaimah receives the President of Botswana

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received at his palace in Saqr Bin Muhammad, today, Douma Gedion Boko, President of the Republic of Botswana, who is visiting the state.

His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al -Khaimah welcomed the luxury of the president and the accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of relations that bring the two friendly countries in various sectors to meet the aspirations and common visions.

The two sides exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern, and researching ways to develop bilateral relations, including cooperation in economic fields and exploring promising opportunities in a way that enhances the process of sustainable development and opens new horizons for future partnerships.

For his part, President Douma Gedion Boko expressed his sincere appreciation to the UAE leadership, government and people, praising its prestigious position on the regional and international arenas, and its prominent role in supporting development and promoting stability.

He also stressed his country’s keenness to move forward in developing cooperation relations with the UAE, and exploring new opportunities for partnership with the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to serve the common interests of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials from both sides.
